Got the bungalow blues?
Ken and Sandy Stone did, so when they outgrew their south Minneapolis bungalow, they avoided a move from their neighborhood by adding a second story.
They wanted to open up the house and make it feel bigger and brighter, while still retaining its charm. One of the overarching goals of the project was to ensure that the house blended into the streetscape, a classic turn-of-the-century collection of modest bungalows and Cape Cods.
