Jan. 5--FORT WORTH, Texas--Leaders across the Metroplex are committing in writing to address one of the region's biggest sources of ozone-producing emissions.
Tarrant, Dallas, Collin and Denton counties, as well as municipalities such as Dallas and Arlington, have approved a resolution pledging to replace or upgrade diesel garbage trucks, construction equipment and other vehicles with pollution controls.
Fort Worth is expected to sign on this month.
