Nellcor and Puritan Bennett operate as separate businesses, both part of Tyco Healthcare. The award, which acknowledges excellence in product quality, business practices and customer support as recognized by clinicians directly, was presented to company representatives on December 8, 2003, during the AARC 49th International Respiratory Congress in Las Vegas, Nevada.
