As the United States deals with setbacks and human suffering in post-war Iraq, UW-Madison is offering a full slate of free public forums during the spring semester focused on exploring the legacies of war.
"It's about what happens after a conflict," said Grant Samuelsen, assistant director of the Center for Humanities at UW-Madison. "Does it turn into a form of liberation, occupation or something other? There's quite a few different takes on it."
