Shanghai. January 5. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Stainless Steel Council for the China Special Steel Enterprises Association (SSC-CSSEA) recently released the ten most influential events for China's stainless steel industry over 2003 as disclosed below:
First, China has become the largest consumer of stainless steel around the world. In 2003, the country's apparent consumption of stainless steel topped 4 mln tons, up 25% from 2002.
