When the investment market is awash with a certain type of product, you can bet your bottom dollar that the bandwagon is on the highway heading out of town. Corporate bonds, say some market analysts, are a fine example of such a product. According to sales figures from the Investment Management Association, UK corporate bond funds are amongst the best--selling investments of 2002. Check out the new product launches highlighted in the press this year, and you'll find that almost every other fund launch has shoe-horned a corporate bond somewhere into the portfolio.
