ST. LOUIS _ Here's the thing about a virtual colonoscopy_you still have to show up.
And though it's been advertised as "noninvasive," there is a small tube involved, and the bowel cleansing ahead of time is still required. Still, doctors hope that eventually, the option of virtual colonoscopy will increase the number of people willing to be screened for colorectal cancer.
Don't rush out to sign up just yet.
