Philips wins domain name lawsuit in Shanghai
Shanghai. January 7. INTERFAX-CHINA -Philips has finally won its domain name dispute with Jiang Haixin, legal person of Shanghai-based Xinwu Intelligent Systems, as was confirmed by Denise Sun, Philips corporate communication manager, in an interview with Interfax.
Jiang lost the lawsuit on the philipscis.com Internet domain name because he registered and used a domain name similar to Philips' trademark, with malicious intention, according to the ruling of Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People's Court.
