BLUETOOTH IS POPPING UP ON PDAS, CAMERAS, and even printers these days, but what about PCs? Actiontec's tiny $39.99 USB Bluetooth Adapter plugs into a PC's USB port so that it can interact wirelessly with other devices. Its faulty setup routine and other quirks make it hard to recommend, however.
The thumb-size USB dongle comes with a 3-foot USB extension cable, so you can reposition the dongle for a better connection. Using the installation software proved a far bigger challenge than positioning the unit.
