The media, consumers, and now the federal government are cracking down on obesity as a major health issue in the U.S. Recent lawsuits targeting the fast food industry as a culprit in rise in obesity are forcing Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) to place a stronger emphasis on healthier menu offerings.
