Budapest. January 7. INTERFAX-EUROPE - HOUSING MARKET TAKES SUBSIDY CUTBACKS IN STRIDE. Real estate agents report that customer demand for residential properties remains high following the tightening of housing loan subsidy rules on December 22. The country's largest realtor, Otthon Centrum Rt, does not count on outstandingly high numbers in the coming three months, but based on the results in recent days, it does expect an uninterrupted stream of activity, said director Andras Gero. However, the rush in registration activity at the Land Office has certainly decreased, he said. (Napi Gazdasag, p. 1, 4)
