WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- On behalf of 123,000 Teamster dairy workers in the U.S. and Canada and the 1.4 million Teamster members and their families who consume dairy products, International Brotherhood of Teamsters' Dairy Conference Director Fred Gegare yesterday petitioned the U.S. Secretaries of Agriculture and Health & Human Services to immediately ban the distribution of milk associated with the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE or "mad cow disease") outbreak in the Pacific Northwest.
