NASHVILLE, Tenn., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- In a letter to United Nations General Secretary Kofi A. Annan, President Boyd Young of the Paper, Allied- Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Workers International Union (PACE) asked the UN to conduct an investigation into the labor practices of E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Co., Inc and that the company be excluded from the UN's Global Compact based on the investigation.
"We do not believe that the United Nations should be used as a cover for unscrupulous employers such as DuPont," said Young in the letter.
