BOSTON -- Cardinal Bernard E Law, retired archbishop of Boston, reflected on his 30 years as a bishop and the "very difficult transition" following his December 2002 resignation in an interview published Dec. 12 in The Pilot, Boston archdiocesan newspaper. "Obviously, it is a very difficult transition to go from the kind of life and the kind of schedule that I had ... to something that is not pressured," he said. "It does take a while to adjust."
