Downtown Ashland, Ore., Landmark Store Moves Temporarily during Renovations.

Jan. 13--A downtown Ashland business landmark is undergoing extensive renovations.

Paddington Station, a gift store that has been in business for more than 30 years, closed its doors Jan. 5 for renovations to the store's 100-year-old location, the JP Dodge building at 125 E. Main St.

The business will move temporarily to the Rogue Valley Mall in Medford, probably by Saturday. The store is tentatively scheduled to reopen in Ashland sometime in May, co-owner Pam Hammond said.
