I've noticed a big increase in online activity of late. Most of it is "business as usual"--modem users downloading files, reading E-mail, arguing in message bases, playing games, etc. On some services, though, there seems to be a concerted effort on the part of small groups of users to seek out problems that don't exist--or to create them. I've seen this happen more than once on just about every online service over the years.
