WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Officials with Hy-Vee, Inc. today announced several measures that will restrict access to several over- the-counter products containing pseudoephedrine, a key ingredient in the manufacture of the highly addictive drug methamphetamine.

Effective immediately, all 219 Hy-Vee and Drug Town stores in seven Midwest states will limit sales of certain products containing pseudoephedrine -- an ingredient in many popular cold remedies -- to two packages per customer visit.
