Of all the aromas that arise from our kitchens, few equal the allure of baking bread.
Sadly, in our time-crunched society old-fashioned breadmaking has been pushed right to the top of the culinary world's "most endangered" list.
Yet thankfully, progress seldom abandons such popular endeavors. Rather, we invent gadgets to satisfy our urges and tastes. With this in mind, perhaps time has come for an excursion to the remote cabinets of our kitchens. Yes, my friends, I am suggesting we dig out a forgotten gift from holidays past: the bread machine.
