Jan. 15--Failed mayoral candidate Tom Grant has refocused his grass-roots campaign skills on bringing a medical school to Spokane.
Grant is leading an independent committee pursuing various ways to bring a medical school to town.
His is the latest organized effort to push forward the long-talked-about idea. By June, Grant said he and a committee of doctors and businessmen will produce a report that discusses various models for getting a school here. He's also hoping to invigorate people.
