Liposuction liftoff. Men's cosmetic surgery has skyrocketed in the last decade as aging male baby boomers struggle to keep their careers moving upwards, rekindle the passion in their marriages, and maybe just feel good about themselves when they wake up in the morning.

Almost 340,000 men underwent cosmetic surgery in the United States in 2002, soaring from approximately 55,000 in 1992, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPSS). The money woes of 2001 and 2002 put a halt to the climb, but plastic surgeons expect the growth to resume as the economy gears up.
