University of Oregon football player Junior Siavii was arrested early Friday morning outside of a Eugene bar and lodged in the Lane County Jail on charges of assaulting a young woman. He was later released on $255 bail.
A senior on this year's UO team, Siavii is scheduled to play in the Hula Bowl in Honolulu Saturday and is expected to be part of the National Football League draft in April.
Police were called to a dispute at Taylor's Bar & Grille, 894 E. 13th Ave., about 1 a.m., Eugene police spokeswoman Pam Olshanski said. Officers found a 23-year-old woman inside with evidence of redness and bruising ...
