Probably in need of an emotional lift after its first loss of the millenium to Oregon State, Oregon should get a small boost today with the return of freshman point guard Aaron Brooks to the practice court.
But that's it. Brooks is still more than a month away from playing, so he'll only be a one-handed and limited participant in drills as the Ducks (1-2 in the Pac-10, 6-4 overall) begin preparations for their first home weekend of the conference season, Washington on Thursday and Washington State on Saturday.
Whatever the Ducks do this weekend or most of this season, they're going to have to do it without ...
