The experience of local wars and armed conflicts of the last decade shows that modern air combat operations will be exceptionally complex and large in extent. They can involve hundreds and even thousands of various offensive air weapons and air defense weapons. The selection of rational methods of combat operations is thus very important in planning combat operations of large strategic formations of the Air Force. Modeling is one of the answers.
