CONSERVATIVES last night predicted another schools funding crisis in Coventry this year because the city council is getting about pounds 900,000 less than expected in government grants.
Children in the most deprived parts of the city would miss out most because schools get money according to the number of pupils they have, deputy leader of the opposition Tony O'Neill told the full council meeting.
Last year schools were forced to cut 43 teaching posts and 27 full-time equivalent teaching assistant posts to ...
