GSM, not CDMA, is the choice of rural carriers that plan upgrades this year, according to a survey released last week by the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association.
"Virtually all of the survey respondents who offer wireless to their customers indicated that they intend to upgrade within the next 12 months, with GSM preferred over CDMA by more than two to one,'' according to the survey.
