Polish auto firm Zasada's two bus-makers Autosan and Jelcz top '03 new sales list
Warsaw. January 21. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Polish bus producers Autosan and Jelcz, both part of the Polish automotive capital group Zasada, led the nation in terms of 2003 output with a combined 54% of new bus sales in Poland, figures from a market watch agency showed Wednesday.
The market's leaders, however, were all down on prior-year production levels as they remained closely tied to the domestic bus market, which has been hit by weak local government budgets and declining demand. Only two of the top eight producers increased their domestic sales levels year on year.
