MILWAUKEE, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- This morning, the Wisconsin Senate voted to allow hidden and loaded handguns to be carried in public, a measure strongly opposed by the far majority of Wisconsin residents and families. By voting to override Governor Doyle's veto of concealed weapons legislation, the Wisconsin Senate has prioritized and championed legislation for the gun lobby and special interests over protecting law enforcement officers and keeping communities safe.
