Jan. 22--The New Mexican Planners of Santa Fe's future rail-yard park aim to include "beautiful spaces that invite people with diverse interests to visit, reflect, play and interact with one another."
Designers hired by the Trust for Public Land say they are working to make the 10-acre park and 3 acres of walkways near Cerrillos Road and Guadalupe Street live up to that ambition.
The trust, which helped the city negotiate the purchase of the entire 50-acre rail yard in 1995, wrote the above description of the park in its early literature about what it hopes ...
