Ukraine-Russia presidents' meeting opens in Kyiv
Kyiv, January 23 (Interfax - Ukraine) - On Friday, a meeting of Ukraine's and Russia's Presidents Leonid Kuchma and Vladimir Putin opened in Kyiv Friday.
At the opening of the meeting Kuchma noted that last year the goods turnover between the two countries grew by $12 billion.
"When we had difficulties with bread, we received it from Russia and Kazakhstan. Others only declared they gathered a lot of bread. We received economic support from you, and declarations on support from the others. Everyone should understand it," Kuchma stressed, addressing Putin. ...
