The actors run their lines, go over some dance steps, listen to the director's comments. It's a typical theater rehearsal, except for one thing. Instead of observing objectively, I am frantically trying to memorize my lines and looking for my "motivation."
I am NOT an actress. Worse. I'm a critic. But on Feb. 5 at John Hancock Hall, I will make my Boston stage debut in "The Vagina Monologues."
