AN ANTRIM animal rescue centre was inundated with calls yesterday from people desperate to give new homes to more than 100 puppies rescued from the Republic.
USPCA spokesman David Wilson said the scruffy, flea-ridden and worm-infested dachshunds were treated aapoorly and inhumanely at a Munster puppy-farm before they were discovered.
