DAVID BEATTY (1979 1980)
For more than 30 years, PARA founder and first president David Beatty owned and operated Kansas City's largest specialty audio store, David Beatty Stereo and was one of the most respected dealers in the country. Beatty actually operated two Kansas City stores-one in Kansas City, MO and another in Kansas City, KS. David specialized in high end stereo equipment, starting with monophonic and also built custom furniture to house the equipment he sold. David passed away in July 1981.
