Interstate Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: IHR), the nation's largest independent hotel management company, today announced the promotion of Alex Lombardo to vice president, finance. In his new position, he will be responsible for all corporate treasury and capital markets activities and will report to the company's chief financial officer. Previously, he served in a dual role as assistant treasurer for Interstate and its sister company, MeriStar Hospitality Corporation.
