SEOUL, Jan. 26 (Yonhap) -- South Korean telecommunications regulator said Monday it will launch an intensive on-the-spot inspection to curb unsolicited cell phone advertising, or mobile spam. The 15-day inspection, set to begin on Tuesday, targets three wireless phone operators and 12 private marketers that send commercial messages using mobile phone text messaging services, said the Ministry of Information and Communication.South Korea, the fourth-largest cell phone market in Asia, has one of the world's fastest mobile networks that allow mobile phone users to swap text and data messages instantly.
