The National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO), a constituency group of the National League of Cities (NLC) and a forum for African American policy development and leadership in municipal government, is again recognizing the expansion of diversity programs in our nation's cities through its Annual City Cultural Diversity Awards program.
The 2004 City Cultural Diversity Awards Program Committee will be chaired by Leo V. Chancy Jr., councilmember and NBC-LEO president-elect from Dallas, Texas. There will be judges from NBC-LEO's Board of Directors and guest judges from some of the other NLC constituency and member groups.
