When Nick Zaras closed Z's Restaurant in Glen Ellyn after 22 years, he didn't want to reopen it with the same name or theme.
Somehow, he wanted to tie the new restaurant to Glen Ellyn.
So on the advice of his wife, Anissa, Zaras hit the library to research the village's history.
"I wanted to do something that was original," he said.
The result is Danby's Station, a new breakfast and lunch destination at 750 E. Roosevelt in Glen Ellyn with a historic touch.
