Three more subcontracts were awarded in December on the fifth potline expansion at Aluminium Bahrain (Alba). The local Alkomed Engineering was awarded the contract to install 11.5-kV transformers and switchboards on the potline's power system. Mechanical Contracting & Services Company, also local, won the contract to supply the water, gas, sewage and air distribution systems at the line.
