The Baldwinsville school district discussed a bus replacement plan at its school board meeting Monday night that will propose spending $690,000 on eight 66-passenger buses and one 22-passenger bus.
The district has been on a 12-year replacement plan on its school buses. But the district has been buying more buses than it removes from service, in order to expand the fleet to accommodate a rising enrollment.
The district has 57 66-passenger buses and 19 smaller buses that it uses on its everyday routes. If the purchases are approved by voters, the district will have a fleet of 80 66-passenger buses and 31 small ...
