Avon Rubber plc has sold its Avon Spencer Moulton SA unit to Nova Participations SAS for 4.67 million [pounds sterling] ($5.56 million). The 12.1-million [pounds sterling] turnover Avon Spencer Moulton unit, based in Malesherbes near Paris, was previously part of Avon's Technical Products Division.
Avon Spencer Moulton, which made a profit of 600 000 [pounds sterling] for the year to 30 Sept 2003, makes a range of moulded rubber crawler tracks used on construction equipment and components for the railway industry.
