The UK's Health & Safety Executive, the government organisation responsible for improving workplace conditions, is presently targeting occupational asthma, particularly in the healthcare sector. It formally launched a section on its website to highlight the issue, at an 8 Oct press conference involving senior HSE staff, the UK minister responsible for health and safety matters, and several asthma sufferers.
