With the holiday season we are bombarded each fall with great recipes for the Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, followed like clockwork with "resolutions" to diet and lose weight in the New Year. (We resolve to do neither to our readers.) However, this issue which had the best intentions of focusing on laboratory testing did so, but only after food allergy testing became its focus. Unlike recipes and dieting, food allergy is a complicated and controversial science, which some would deem to be a pseudo-science.
