Islamabad, Jan., 29, (PPI): Mr. Talbak Nazarov, the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, met Foreign Minister Khurshid M. Kasuri at the Foreign Office on Thursday. Mr. Nazarov is on a three-day official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Pakistan's Foreign Minister. Foreign Minister Nazarov strongly refuted media reports to the effect that Tajikistan had allowed India to establish a military base in Tajikistan. He said Tajikistan had not allowed any country to establish military bases on its soil at any time since its independence in 1992. He described all such reports as malicious, baseless and unfounded.
