The local ABU DHABI POLYMERS CO. LTD. (BOROUGE) is currently said to be considering the construction of a second petrochemical complex in the UAE. Development plans under consideration call for building: - An ethane cracker with an installed production capacity of 1.4
million tons per year; - Downstream polyolefins plants.
