Dec. 24--APPLETON, Wis.--Fulfilling a pledge to be aggressive in acquisitions, the Appleton paper company bought a British paper manufacturer in a $60 million deal that closed Tuesday.
The cash deal to purchase BemroseBooth of Derby, England, gives Appleton access to the United Kingdom and western Europe to sell secure paper products, such as vouchers and payment cards.
