Bangalore,Feb 2 (PTI) Alleging irregularities in the state's mega Bangalore-Mysore express highway project, former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda on Monday demanded a CBI probe into it, charging that it was being turned into a "real estate activity".
He told reporters here that his party, JD-S, would also move the court and take to the streets if government did not put an end to the "real estate activity" going on at the cost of the land belonging to poor farmers.
He charged that additional 8,000 acres of land was being acquired around Bangalore under the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor Project (BMICP) when, as conceived originally, it did not ...
