D'Addario has developed six new electric and acoustic string sets that will be on display at the NAMM show in Anaheim.
Four of the new guitar sets--The EXL145, the EXL158, the EXP23, and the EJ37--cater to players who prefer heavier," gauges.
The EXL145 (.012-.054) strings, priced at $8.99, are heavy strings lot heavy music and are designed for players who like a heavier gauge set but prefer an unwound G string. It is also ideal for players who tune down to D and want to retain a normal, comfortable playing tension.
