WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- MetLife today released The MetLife Survey of the American Teacher: An Examination of School Leadership. The survey, the latest in MetLife's annual series conducted by Harris Interactive(R) since 1984, examines the attitudes and opinions of teachers, principals, parents and students regarding school leadership. Secretary of Education Rod Paige made the keynote speech at the release event, which included The Harris Poll(R) Chairman Humphrey Taylor's presentation of the findings and discussion of the results by high school students and a panel of education professionals.
