The Carbon Trust has awarded its 6m [pounds sterling] marketing and communications account to McCann-Erickson following a five-way pitch, and has put its 2.5m [pounds sterling] media buying and planning account out to tender.
McCann-Erickson's appointment by the Carbon Trust, a Government-funded organisation set up to reduce carbon emissions, comes after a four-month search. McCann-Erickson will be tasked to provide a full marketing service to the trust, including advertising, PR and direct marketing.
