Owing to its advantages of simple process flow, low equipment investment, high production efficiency and convenient production of fine denier products, new-generation green fiber melt-spun spandex became an investment focus in China some time ago. The 5 000 t/a melt-spun spandex project in South Yellow Sea Industrial Co., Ltd. has recently been included in the high-tech development project plan of the state, and the 2 000 t/a melt-spun spandex project in Baoding Swan Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. has also been approved.
