Oswego County's economic development leaders are looking for companies with good-paying jobs to relocate here and restore civic pride, pay taxes and lighten the burden on everyone else.
If only it were that easy.
There are about 15,000 communities in the United States that want the same thing, said Ed Barlow, a futurist who spoke Wednesday at State University College at Oswego. Those communities have the same mission, goals and objectives as Oswego County.
